We are planning the 2010 Class of 65 Reunion July 17th at 5PM at River Bend Golf Club in the BAR AREA if you wish to attend. That's located in Ormond Beach off Airport Rd in case you may not be familiar with this location. The many elements of the REUNION will be discussed and we hope to have some definitive data as to WHEN, WHERE, TIME, and of course the COST soon after the meeting. Current plans are to have it in Daytona on the Beach at a Hotel with Banquet Catering and discounted rooms for attendees. Several hotels are currently being reviewed before we lock in the room price and other costs associated with the event. Please email us if you plan on attending and need to have additional information as we get things organized. Also check out our personal Class of 65 website http://www.*****.com/****

Ideas for the 2013 Class gathering, AND the 40th class reunion in 2013

POSTED: (201) 210-XXXX :37:09

During the last class gathering (in July, 2012) we discussed two important dates that are pertinent: June 15, 2013 and our 40th class reunion. Here are the items that were discussed:

Annual Class Gathering:

In 2013, June 15th (the actual date of our graduation) falls on a weekend, therefore, it was suggested that we gather on that weekend....FOR 2013 ONLY!!!
It was further suggested that on Friday, June 14, 2013, we have a "meet and greet," at some place like Caribbean Jacks in Daytona. On June 15, our class gathering can be held at a park with pot luck food. We could also have volleyball, softball, cards, etc. or maybe have it at "The Deck Down Under" in Port Orange. If we opt to have it in a park, we could have a DJ. I suggested our own classmate, Mark Caromano, who is a DJ.

MAINLAND CLASS OF 1975 40th REUNION (June 2015):

It was suggested that this event be a semi formal event at a local hotel like "the Daytona Beach Hilton, or "the Plaza." On Friday night we would have our "meet and greet" at the hotel, and a sit-down dinner and dance on Saturday night. While we didn't discuss Sunday activities, it was suggested that as a class, we attend church services together. Locally, in Daytona, our classmate Jan Desmore is associate pastor of a church.

We also discussed class dues to pay for these upcoming events. It was suggested that if each class member can contribute $25 dollars per quarter, that's $100 per year, we could pay for the dinner and incidentals for these events. Whatever hotel we choose for the 40th reunion should be advised early enough that we can reserve rooms.

Okay classmates...I need you feedback. While Johnnie Moore did a wonderful job of planning this year's gathering, I am asking everyone to come together so we can make these two events successful as only the Class of 1975 can.

We need to start paying class due no later than January 2013. Johnnie Moore agreed to set up a website with a link to an account where deposits can be made directly using paypal. This account will be set up as Mainland High Class of 1975, and will need at least two people to withdraw the funds.

Again classmates, I need your comments, views, feedback, etc. Please respond to this post by December 15th, or you can call me directly at (754) 235-XXXX , and always remember....BUC PRIDE NEVER DIES!!!!
